ABOUT
KACY SHINDLER
Kacy Shindler is a Houston wrongful death and serious personal injury attorney — and a tireless advocate for individuals and families whose lives have been turned upside down by someone else's negligence.
A second-generation lawyer born and raised in Bay City, Texas, Kacy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas with honors before receiving her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law. She went on to train alongside some of the most respected personal injury and trial lawyers in Texas before founding Kacy Law, where she could build the kind of client-first practice she always believed in.
Kacy handles wrongful death, catastrophic injury, defective product, and serious personal injury cases throughout Houston and surrounding Texas counties, with offices in Houston and Bay City. She has successfully resolved hundreds of cases for injured clients and has taken cases all the way through jury trial — because she prepares every case as if it is going to one.
She has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyers® honoree in 2025 and 2026 — a distinction earned by the top 5% of attorneys in the state through peer nomination and independent evaluation — and as a Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Star in 2021, 2022, and 2023, awarded to fewer than 2.5% of eligible Texas lawyers.
At Kacy Law, your story is heard, your fight is taken seriously, and justice is the only acceptable outcome. The Voice of Your Story to Justice.
KACY'S PROMISE
TO YOU
Kacy Shindler is able to navigate and relate to a wide array of clients and cases which allows her to tell the stories of clients from all different backgrounds.
Kacy believes that being a personal injury lawyer is extremely personal — She finds great importance in knowing all of her clients and being able to counsel them through their hard times.
"Bad things happen to good people on a regular basis and I want to help people through those difficult times. We live in a country where the smallest person can take on the largest corporation with power. My goal is to help those who are injured wield that power to the best of their ability. To tell their story is a privilege and an honor I do not take lightly." – Kacy Shindler
It was important to Kacy to serve the community she calls home, which is why she opened offices in her hometown, Bay City, and in Houston.
