There is no greater loss than to lose a loved one due to the actions of others. Texas Law allows certain parties to file a wrongful death suit if the death is caused by the wrongful act, carelessness, unskillfulness, neglect, or default of another person or corporation. 

The surviving spouse, children, and parents of the deceased can file a Wrongful Death Claim. In some cases, adoptive children may file a wrongful death claim. Unfortunately, Texas law does not allow siblings of the deceased to file a wrongful death claim.
